BANZAI!!!!!

Regular visitors of this Blog will know that I'm a dedicated Minolta user. But the brand Minolta doesn't exist anymore for the photographer, since the Minolta photo department was sold to Sony. I try to postpone 'My first Sony' moment. And been lucky doing that! My latest and maybe last Minolta buy was last friday, a genuine Minolta flash! Brand new, out of the box!!!! Exactly the same flash is made by Sony, but you can't find one anymore with the Minolta logo on it. And I did, at my local photostore!

Actually, I hate flash photography!! But with one exeption; i've been experimenting with flash the last couple of years during concerts and my old one wasn't up to par anymore.
Friday night I got a chance to try out my new flash at a Kamikaze Trio gig. This Australian punktrio gave a blistering bar concert in the cafe of the old Perron 55. Nice and cosy and the sound was excellent! Got a limited single for changing to strings of the singers guitar. It featured a Gun Club cover (my favorite band of all time!) on the A-side... Destiny?
