A 'little' surprise... F*CK!

Today I had a business meeting in Roermond, the town I used to work for. Driving down the highway I suddenly saw this huge bilboard, the photo looked somewhat familiar:

On my way back I stopped the car and took a closer look. Damn, it was one of my photographs! And it was huge, gigantic, monstrous!

I'm wondering where some of my old photo's are gonna turn up next...

Lensbaby, part II

As simple as it is, a Lensbaby needs practice. It is easy to use, but to get some nice results you have to experiment!

Here are two that I like very much...

ice cold...

Sometimes you have to suffer to get the photo you want...
This morning I shot a little reportage about the Retail Park in Roermond. A new shopping center the're building next to the new highway. It was freezin'cold with a cutting wind...

on the set...

A little trip down memory lane... It's been about 15 years since I was on a movie set. Last week, a big production company shot some scenes for a a TV show in Roermond. The photos look a bit gorie and bloody, but it is for a big family show (!)...

The story they shot is about a massmurder on some Karthuizer Monks in the medievals in Roermond. The city is a bit friendlier now ;-)

Try to pic up one of the latest issues of Monumenten, the biggest cultural and historical magazine in the Netherlands. This month has an free booklet about the monuments in the town of Roermond. About 90% of the photo's are mine! And the book had some great reviews!
