Damned!

Last week legendary punkpioneers The Damned played our town. Since it was a monday and a last minute booking, the place didn't sell out. But again thanx to the guys from Oude Garde for delivering such a great and legendary band on our front lawn!

Qeensday Festival 2008... what a blast!!!!

Yesterday we had our yearly 12 hours of punkrock, garage and thrash at the Queensday Festival. And again Gijs, Jair and Jorrit topped last years version. The night ended with the perfect r'n'r duo Digger and the Pussycats, the souring soul'n'detroitrock of the Bellrays (imagine Aretha Franklin fronting the MC5!) and the bluegrassfolkpunk of the 357 Stringband.
Before that we saw a dozen other band, to many to mention... 'but one: The Dead Elvis & his One Man Grave, he stole our hearts and gave us the prove we needed Elvis is Dead, but the king is alive!

Wow, what a party!

Last friday the '5 years Oude Garde' exhibition opened with a blast! Several bands (incl. The Apers) played at the concert hall and The Pedro Delgado's headlined at the cafe in front of my photo exhibition...

Couldn't imagine a better band to do that, these guys rocked the place and it was a rock'n'folk mayhem with standing bass, banjo, guitars and accordeon!
Again thanx to Gijs, Jahir, Jorrit & the rest for asking me to exhibit!
