Back from the USA!

We just came back from over 4 weeks of cruising through the South West of the USA. Although we had some bad luck during the trip, it was an unbelievable journey! Especially the golden fall color in Colorado were beautiful.

Some of the planned hikes we had to cancel, due to bad weather, sickness or washes out trails. But we got so see enough amazing new landscapes that we want to visit again on or next trip... After 8 trips were still not satisfied with the deserts of the south west!

Qeensday Festival 2008... what a blast!!!!

Yesterday we had our yearly 12 hours of punkrock, garage and thrash at the Queensday Festival. And again Gijs, Jair and Jorrit topped last years version. The night ended with the perfect r'n'r duo Digger and the Pussycats, the souring soul'n'detroitrock of the Bellrays (imagine Aretha Franklin fronting the MC5!) and the bluegrassfolkpunk of the 357 Stringband.
Before that we saw a dozen other band, to many to mention... 'but one: The Dead Elvis & his One Man Grave, he stole our hearts and gave us the prove we needed Elvis is Dead, but the king is alive!
